House Cleaning

This 28th of November we will be expecting a wonderful visitor....."our Tatay Tony". In preparation I have again to do general house cleaning. Changing bedsheets, curtains, pillow cases, disinfecting the bed foams under the sun and other details that will really make the house extra clean. Whew just had a break so I can tell you what I am doing....but I missed posting something here. So instead of sitting by and grasping my breath. I decided to post a blog about my Saturday activity

 I am almost done. I have to because by one I will be going to West City Central School to coach them in preparation for the Regional Schools Press Conference. So Saturday indeed will be a very busy day.

I have to switch  the computer off after 5 minutes from now so I could continue the last or finishing touch of my house cleaning which is to use house spray to get rid of certain viruses on the surface of furnitures and cabinets I am using Lysol products.

What is Christmas in the Eyes of a Child?

Last Monday my youngest Hannah went home rushing from a neighborhood's  house with a loud news " Mama our neighbors had already decorated and displayed their  Christmas trees. I have no intention to decorate the house with any Christmas motif but seeing my kid so excited with it and the tree which symbolizes the spirit of Christmas I then had a second thought of maybe decorating our home with simple Christmas decors. 

But I know in my heart that I should still explain to my kids that Christmas does not mean Christmas- decoration, gifts they receive, special food we prepare, godparents that they will visit to collect their gifts it does not even mean parties. The true meaning of Christmas is Jesus who  gave himself  to save His people from their sin (Matthew 1:21)

The UNSTOPPABLE Date with my Hubby

It has been a long  time already (I can't even determine how looooong was it) since my hubby take me to a date in a movie house. We can't find a good time to just relax and watch a movie. Good that our President declared a holiday for the Filipino Muslim to celebrate the end "Al Hadj". A break for the two of us for some commitments.

I love my Yellow "Sarong" this was given to me as a souvenir  when we attended the National Press Conference in Tagum, Davao del Norte. Sarong has many uses: it can be a skirt, a scarf, a fashion dress, hair covering "bandana" and etc.

My sarong is very useful specially when I am travelling, I can use it as warmer and covering of my hair and shoulders. Travelling light? Sarong is best too, I made it as my towel and blanket so I have four of them but this one is my favorite.

I really like Dimsum they are not only palatable but I observe they are Nutritious and Healthy too. That is why I always go to restaurant that serves Dimsum, atSM CDO, Mandarin (Chinese Restaurant) Velez St. Cdo. I wonder who supply these restaurants of their raw materials so they can cook deliciously!I hope they knew that they can get supplies from alibaba food.

Reading Glass Problem

When I was 17 years old I started wearing correctional eyeglasses. It was corrected then after two years. My eyes, nose rested from this thing hanging on them. Whew a relief.

Last 2007, when I took a bath my eyes got irritated maybe  with the chemicals of the shampoo I was using. My eyes turned red. I immediately went to an eye specialist to have it checked. Yes, it was because of the shampoo I was using but another problem was diagnose by the ophthalmologist I should have a reading eyeglasses. So right that moment I got my eye wear.

Two months ago I experienced headache and my eyes were always tired and strained. So last Sunday I tried to visit St. Jude Optical located at S.M. CDO purposely to have the previous eyeglasses repaired, one of the saddle bridge (a thing that hold the glasses on my nose) was removed. So I went to have it replaced. I realized why not used the opportunity for my eyes to be examined. I inquired to the attendants about examination.  It is free if we order an eyeglasses. I had my eyes examined and the doctor told me that my reading glasses grade have to be upgraded. She also added I'm to young to have that grade. I can have the lenses change using the same frame. I need it so I have to.

Now I have my new glasses but still the old frame it is much cheaper that getting the whole eyeglasses. I tried browsing about eyeglasses in the net and I found this: EYE GLASSES.COM. If I have not got one I might as well get from here!

     Hubby and I went malling and we saw this car displayed in SM. I am fascinated with the color of this car. Hubby inquired the lady about the car. Wow the price is right but we cannot afford one.It is just for my eyes to behold. Anyway it is small for our big family (sour graping)!
