Handy and Comfy Air Bed

Our family is always on the go where God lead us to go. To camping, to evangelism, to fellowships and conferences and other places. sometimes the place where we visit does not have beds and you do not have any choice but to spread a mat on the floor. Good if it is a wooden floor it will not give you back aches but worst if it is a concrete floor. The cement will absorb the moist of the ground and it is not really good especially for those who are aging and has arthritis.

I found a good solution for this. A comfy and handy air bed. It is easy to carry anytime  and anywhere. It won't leave back ache since the heat won't stock up in it like the rubberized foam. You will sleep comfortably and very affordable with free manual pump or electric pump in a pack. Thanks heaven for this handy and comfy bed.

Camping on the Go

Our family love to travel and attend campings. That is why we never forget to bring with us our tent, so that wherever we are we can just put it up and rest comfortably. It had been our shelter especially when we are in outdoor camping. My kids will not call it a camping activity without a tent.

In a village of Tago, Gamut, Surigao del Sur during our first youth cam. People among the village saw our tents, that was the first time they were amazed so they spread the news all over the village and told others, "  you must go and see those "balay na payong" means umbrella houses.
Camping on the go with our tents!

Waiting at the Airport of CDO

This is my youngest Hannah, while waiting for her uncle Jonathan David to arrive at Lumbia Domestic Airport. I let her pose near a red car. Perfect for my Ruby Tuesday post. Belted Heart's Day everyone.

Getting Bald

When I was yet seven years old I still recalled that my father's hair were becoming thinner and thinner when he was late 20 starting to reach 30 he was already bald. I also noticed this to my brothers so for short baldness is a hereditary problem among men in our family.

This is really a problem because it made you look older than your age. My brothers tried to use herbal plants to prevent hair loss. they also tried shampoos and other remedies in preventing hair loss that may lead to baldness but to no avail.

Now, I noticed that their scalp/head were already deforested. I wish I could do something. If the herbal like applying aloe vera before taking a bath did not work maybe they should see or consult Hair Treatment Experts.

My brothers are only among those men who have the same problem. So do not fret consult HTE now!

Baby's Needs

My brother Ysrael and his wife Lyka had their first baby-girl last November 17,2010. Their baby Sophie is already 3 months old. She is a cuddly, lovely and bouncy baby.

Since they are new parents they wanted to make sure that they are doing the right things for their baby. To ensure they were they sometimes consulted expert mothers or ask advises from older parents. they also ask my opinions especially in preparing for their baby's needs. I told them to make a check list of everything, so that they can be sure not to miss anything especially the little things but  important one.

I am glad they listened to me. They are making me their adviser now when it comes to parenting. But I told them sometimes you have to experiment and observe.

This is Sophie my cute niece, isn't she?

Surprisingly!

They say "a way to man's heart is through his stomach, but the way to woman's heart is through _________?

My hubby really knows my weakness, he knows how to tickle me. Even a tiny flower harvested from our garden can be an act of thoughtfulness and love to me.
I was really surprise when he gave me a bouquet of flowers after fetching our daughter to school. He seemed to have a dramatic plan. I smelled his surprise when he unusually passed by the back door and went directly to our bedroom and he seemed to hide something from me. I was so busy then to investigate but later when I entered our room.....the great surprise was revealed, and WOW! I was in cloud 9 and gave him a tight hug. He was still pursuing me and I love it.
The flower hubby gave me. What a joy to receive this!

That morning of February 14, I was a little bit upset because he was so silent to discuss with me what he intend to do for us that day. I was emoting already because he left to fetch Juwella to school without any thought. I bet that's part of the surprise.
A pose with the flowers before going out for dinner
In the evening he took me out for a dinner we went to Philtown Hotel and Restaurant. They offer Valentines Dinner Buffet for only 250.00 php per head. the price is right for 5 main dishes to choose from with 5 dessert and 1 bottle of soft drink. I enjoyed eating the four seasons vegetable and leche flan (burp).

Thank you Lord for such a thoughtful hubby you have given me.

14 Ways to Save Money on Groceries....

I find this interesting and helpful especially for us mothers!

Save money and trips to the market with these tips and tricks from Rebecca DiLiberto’s Penny Saving Household Helper. You’ll be surprised how simple it is to keep food at its best.
1. Line the bottom of your refrigerator’s crisper drawer with paper towels. They’ll absorb the excess moisture that causes vegetables to rot.
2. To keep herbs tasting fresh for up to a month, store whole bunches, washed and sealed in plastic bags, in the freezer. When you need them, they’ll be easier to chop, and they’ll defrost the minute they hit a hot pan.
3. A bay leaf slipped into a container of flour, pasta, or rice will help repel bugs.
