Our Christmas Escapade! Posted for MYM and RT

 
The whole family spent our Christmas vacation in Tago, Gamut, Surigao Sur. It was tiring since we have to travel for almost 10 hours to be in the palce where we consider as one of the paradise on earth.

We left home on December 23, 2010 4:30 dawn and we arrived at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Though how far the place is we always look forward to be in this place. Uncle Nilo Sanchez and aunt Fely gladly welcome us and warmly accommodated us in their home. Their home iis located on a hilly section of a one-hectare Seminary for Pastors.

We were having fun. The fellowship we had was so wonderful. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and scenery of the place away from the city, away from pollution.

We got some picture of the flowers and plants surrounding the Seminary.

My first Yummy Sunday for 2011

Last November 28 to December 16, 2010, our Tatay Tony paid us a visit. I t was a holiday indeed. One of our trip is "food trip" We test and taste some food in the City.

One of our funny trip was in the BFB Big Flat Bread. Tatay Tony ordered 2 biggest pizza. We told him that it's big but then he did not imagine how big it was so he insisted to have two. He said if we cannot consume then we can take it home and have it microwave for breakfast but still it is too big for the family of 7 with 3 boys only and 2 kids. I just finished 2 slices. It was deliciously fun!

The Joy in Passing an Examination!

Taking an exam is not easy it is just like "threading the small holes of a needle". One should burn his of her candle  before making it. But there are few who are really mentally gifted. Their problem is not to pass but to top an examination.

My brother Jonathan David A. Estilo a fourth year student of Philippine Science High School, Baloi, Lanao del Norte made it to University of the Philippines Career Aptitude Test - Electronics and Communication Engineering. He excitedly texted me yesterday! My heart was full of joy and gratefulness. God has enabled my brother to hurdle it.

We are still waiting for the results in all the examination he had taken in preparation for his college. We are praising God for all the joy he brought to us  in this victory!

My late mother should have also rejoice in this victory if she still alive! But God has purposes in everything!

Sky watching! CDO Pyrotechnic

One of the most spectacle scene during the Holiday Season is the fireworks display. It was good that the City Government of Cagayan de Oro City through some sponsors made Pyrotechnic possible for viewers especially those who can't afford to buy fireworks or those who value saving more than burning money!

I'm Back!

Happy New Year! I've been missing this site so much! I failed to post something due to busyness! Thank God that God because there is always time for everything! The time for busy days are done!
