Looking for Elderly Care?

In the Philippines, entrusting our grannies in an Elderly care is not very usual compared to other countries. We prefer to care for them in their olden days though some see it as a burden. Especially when everyone in the family leaves the house to work, study and do other concerns. They were left all alone in the house. Good if our elders are still able to care for themselves. Worst is when they are already disabled due to old aged diseases. They really become a great load to us who have to work to earn a living.
It is true that we are indebted to our olds for the care they have given us when we were still babies or kids.So we have the responsibilities to return to them the love and care when they are already old to take care of themselves. But, although we have the love for them we cannot deny that we sometimes can be harsh to them and sometimes we lost patience of course because of the works we have.
That is why it is more practical to entrust them in an Elderly Care where friendly people can patiently understand them. And where can  have the opportunity to interact with people of their age than leaving them alone in our homes.
Should there be Elderly homes in the Philippines than it would be a lesser burden to families who are working.

Photobucket

Poinsettia, Patiently waits for winter season
To display its Perfect beauty
But now see it is starting to bloom
I eagerly waited for poinsettias to fully glow
Cause I know when I can see them all around
Christmas time is in the air!

ABC WEDNESDAY ROUND 7

Reading Glass Problem

When I was 17 years old I started wearing correctional eyeglasses. It was corrected then after two years. My eyes, nose rested from this thing hanging on them. Whew a relief.

Last 2007, when I took a bath my eyes got irritated maybe  with the chemicals of the shampoo I was using. My eyes turned red. I immediately went to an eye specialist to have it checked. Yes, it was because of the shampoo I was using but another problem was diagnose by the ophthalmologist I should have a reading eyeglasses. So right that moment I got my eye wear.

Two months ago I experienced headache and my eyes were always tired and strained. So last Sunday I tried to visit St. Jude Optical located at S.M. CDO purposely to have the previous eyeglasses repaired, one of the saddle bridge (a thing that hold the glasses on my nose) was removed. So I went to have it replaced. I realized why not used the opportunity for my eyes to be examined. I inquired to the attendants about examination.  It is free if we order an eyeglasses. I had my eyes examined and the doctor told me that my reading glasses grade have to be upgraded. She also added I'm to young to have that grade. I can have the lenses change using the same frame. I need it so I have to.

Now I have my new glasses but still the old frame it is much cheaper that getting the whole eyeglasses. I tried browsing about eyeglasses in the net and I found this: EYE GLASSES.COM. If I have not got one I might as well get from here!

Hubby and I went malling and we saw this car displayed in SM. I am fascinated with the color of this car. Hubby inquired the lady about the car. Wow the price is right but we cannot afford one.It is just for my eyes to behold. Anyway it is small for our big family (sour graping)!

This is displayed at SM during a Caravan, LIFAN cars.
